I’m excited to share that I’m going to be participating in this year’s iteration of aipad’s The Photography Show. Happening April 23-27, 2025 at the historic Park Avenue Armory in Manhattan, I’ll be vending in the photobook section with a group of 10+ photographers from Philadelphia under the Gravy Studio umbrella.
Founded in 2011 in a converted motorcycle garage in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood, Gravy Studio has evolved from a brick-and-mortar gallery into a hybrid collective that continues to support photography through pop-up exhibitions, collaborative projects, its active online platform, and the annual 20/20 Photo Festival in Philadelphia. As one of Philadelphia’s only photography-specific collectives, Gravy champions a model of equal dialogue between artist and curator while amplifying socially and politically engaged photography. The artists representing Gravy at The Photo Show will feature work spaning documentary, experimental, conceptual, and historical photography.
I’ll have copies of Going, Going, my 2023 self published book, East Falls, my very first zine, as well as two prints for sale.
The costs to join a fair like this are significant. We have put together a fundraiser of donated books, zines and prints from our participating photographers, in order to help us cover as much of our costs as possible.
